Inspired Sips For A New Season: Cocktail and Mocktail Recipes With Edobio Japanese Tea Blends

Springtime is here! And to celebrate, Edobio has created several unique cocktail and mocktail recipes featuring our favorite proprietary All Japanese Tea Blend - Green Tea and Sakura.

Perfect for refreshment, relaxation, and cultivating inner beauty, each of these recipes is as fun and easy to make as they are to enjoy.

Here’s how you can make your own Edo Mule, Sakuratini, and Bio Bloom beverages:

The Edo Mule - A sweet and citrusy vodka cocktail

  • Step One: Prepare one serving of All Japanese Tea Blend - Green Tea and Sakura by placing your tea bag in a heat-resistant cup and adding 200 ml of hot water.
  • Step Two: Allow tea to brew for 5 minutes.
  • Step Three: Mix 200 ml of tea with 200 g of sugar, and add 10g of citric acid, to make a cordial.
  • Step Four: Bring your mixture to a boil and stir well. Then, allow it to cool.
  • Step Five: Serve in a tall glass, and add the following: 50 ml of vodka + 50 ml of tea cordial.
  • Step Six: Top with pineapple soda and serve!

The Sakuratini – A floral and fruity gin cocktail

  • Step One: Chill 350 ml of gin in the freezer for at least 24 hours, so that it becomes cold and slightly thick.
  • Step Two: Add 3 tea bags of All Japanese Tea Blend - Green Tea and Sakura to the gin, then refrigerate for three hours, allowing the gin to create a tea-flavored infusion.
    • Step Three: To your mix of gin and tea, add 15 ml of martini dry and 3 drops of grenadine syrup.
    • Step Four: Serve in a martini glass with no ice.
    • Step Five: As a final touch, garnish your cocktail with a sakura (cherry blossom) flower and serve!

The Bio Bloom – A celebratory alcohol-free mocktail that captures the essence of springtime in Japan

    • Step One: Prepare one serving of All Japanese Tea Blend - Green Tea and Sakura by placing your tea bag in a heat-resistant cup and adding 200 ml of hot water.
    • Step Two: Allow tea to brew for 5 minutes.
    • Step Three: Bring your mixture to a boil and stir well. Then, allow it to cool.
    • Step Four: Pour 50 ml of tea cordial in a glass and top with pineapple soda.
    • Step Five: Pour 50 ml of tea cordial in a glass and top up with pineapple soda. Garnish as desired and serve!

    Happy Spring from Edobio!
